Thank you for helping keep our community calendar up to date. This calendar is designed to help both residents and visitors discover events happening throughout Carroll County. Following these guidelines helps ensure everyone has access to accurate, engaging, and useful information.

What Can Be Submitted?

We welcome events that are open to the public and take place in Carroll County, including:

• Community celebrations
• Festivals and fairs
• Live music and entertainment
• Farmers markets
• Arts and cultural events
• Workshops and classes
• Outdoor recreation events
• Seasonal and holiday events
• Nonprofit fundraisers
• Business grand openings and special events
• Family-friendly activities
• Educational programs

Private events, invitation-only gatherings, garage sales, and events held outside Carroll County may not be approved.

Submit Early

Please submit your event at least 30 days before the event date whenever possible.

Submitting early allows our team time to review your listing, request any necessary updates, and include your event in upcoming promotions and community communications.

Events may be submitted up to one year in advance.

Most complete submissions are reviewed within 2–3 business days.

Event Information

Before submitting, please make sure your listing includes:

• A clear event title
• Accurate dates and times
• Event location
• A complete event description
• Admission information, if applicable
• Contact information or website for additional details

Accurate information helps residents and visitors plan with confidence.

Photo Guidelines

A great photo helps people imagine what it’s like to attend your event.

Please upload:

• A real photograph of your event, venue, performers, or activity
• High-quality images that are sharp and well-lit
• Landscape (horizontal) photos whenever possible

Photo Specifications

• Preferred Size: 1920 × 1080 pixels
• Minimum Size: 1600 × 900 pixels
• Orientation: Landscape (16:9)

Please do not upload:

• Event flyers
• Posters
• Advertisements
• Graphics with dates or promotional text
• Logos by themselves
• Screenshots
• Collages
• Blurry or low-resolution images

Whenever possible, choose a photo that shows the experience people can expect when attending your event.

Event Descriptions

Tell people what makes your event special.

A great description answers questions like:

• What can attendees expect?
• Who is the event for?
• Is there an admission fee?
• Are there activities, entertainment, food, or vendors?

Review Process

All submissions are reviewed before being published to help maintain an accurate, welcoming, and family-friendly community calendar.

Our team may make minor edits for spelling, grammar, formatting, or consistency. If additional information is needed, we’ll contact you before publishing your event.
